Alternative dispute resolution

In cases of dispute between attorneys-at-law and their clients, a party might apply for an out-of-court dispute resolution before the regional bar association (§ 73 BRAO) or before the mediation office of the federal bar association (§ 191f BRAO). Further information is available on the Internet at the federal bar association website (www.brak.de or by e-mail schlichtungsstelle@brak.de) or directly on the conciliation board website (www.schlichtungsstelle-der-rechtsanwaltschaft.de or by e-mail schlichtungsstelle@s-d-r.org).

You might also use the EU platform for Online Dispute Resolution in case you are a consumer (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/). However, we are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer dispute resolution board.
